The Santa Maria del Cami Sunday market is one of the better ones on the island. It runs in the morning, it stays local, and the covered market building means it happens rain or shine. Antiques, ceramics, local produce, plants. It does not feel like a tourist market.
We are two minutes away on foot, at Carrer de l'Esglesia 13.
The Sunday pattern that works: market first, then brunch at Deli Santa Maria. We open at nine, the terrace fills up by eleven, and most people stay longer than they planned.
On Sundays we do the full brunch and lunch menu: shakshuka, sabich, falafel, the Meze Balagan sharing platter, good coffee and fresh juices. About 80% of the menu is vegetarian and vegan, we do meat and chicken too, and a mixed table all eats well together. One of us is vegan, the other is a meat lover - the menu grew out of that.
The kitchen is open, the terrace is dog-friendly, and we take no reservations on Sundays. Just walk over after the market.
